Quality assurance of our fiber optic products is carried out in accordance to  DIN 58141.

The production tests comprise the following criteria:

• Measurement of the single fiber diameter
• Determination of the smallest bending radius of the single fiber as well as for the fiber bundle 
• Tribological tests of the fiber surface (fiber lubricant / Cladding)
• Tests regarding autoclavable quality and heat constancy 
• Determination of the fiber breackage rate
• Measurement of the transmission and aperture 

Our fiber optic lubricants are harmless to health. They are developped according to our environmental certification and according to DIN ISO 14001 and are recorded.

The especially developped compositions aim at the special needs of medical technology and correspond to the Medical Devices Act (DIN 13485).
